The Bahamas Concludes Tax Information Exchange Agreements with the Netherlands, Belgium and France

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign also travelled to Brussels, Belgium to sign a similar agreement with Belgium at the Hôtel des Finances in Brussels on Monday, December 7, 2009. Mr. Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Belgium signed on behalf of that country.
Mr. Michael Guy, Second Secretary and Vice Consul in the High Commission, accompanied the Deputy Prime Minister on his visits to The Hague and Brussels.
An agreement was also concluded with the Republic of France via an Exchange of Letters, bringing the total to ten (10) TIEAs now entered into by the Bahamas Government.
