Nassau, Bahamas – On Wednesday, 10th May 2017 the Commonwealth of The Bahamas elected a new Government through a peaceful, nonviolent, democratic process.

The Bahamian people elected the FNM, led by the Hon. Dr. Hubert Alexander Minnis, MP, as their new Government in what has been described as a historic win.

The Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis, MP, was sworn-in as the fourth Prime Minister of the Bahamas yesterday, 11th May 2017 at 7 pm (Nassau time) by the Governor-General, Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling.
