On the Passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II

 

The Office of The Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and the Officers, members, and staff of The Bahamas Bar Association join our colleagues throughout the Commonwealth in expressing heartfelt condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who will be remembered as a beloved, faithful and dedicated Queen of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas and Head of the Commonwealth.

His Majesty King Charles III being our Head of State, His Majesty’s Counsel for The Bahamas shall be referred to as King’s Counsel (KC)

In tribute to Her Majesty, we reaffirm our national commitment to the Administration of Justice and the Rule of Law, which we have maintained as a nation throughout her storied Reign.
