The Bahamas Celebrates 38 Years of Independence

On 10 July 2011, the Commonwealth of The Bahamas observed the 38th anniversary of its Independence from the United Kingdom.

H.E. the Governor-General Sir Arthur Foulkes G.C.M.G, and the Right Honourable Prime Minister  Hubert A. Ingraham, M.P., issued their customary Independence Day messages, which may be downloaded here.
