Bahamian Law Student Reception With Sir Michael Barnett, Chief Justice and Sen. The Hon. Allyson Maynard Gibson, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs

Sen. The Hon. Allyson Maynard Gibson, Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs; and Sir Michael Barnett, Chief Justice; met with Bahamian students currently studying Law in the UK at a Reception hosted by H.E. Eldred Bethel, High Commissioner, at Bahamas House on Monday 16 September 2013.

The students were welcomed to Bahamas House – their ‘home away from home’ and encouraged to enjoy their time abroad, to study hard and take advantage of the opportunities presented to them. They were further afforded the opportunity to raise questions to the Attorney General and Chief Justice and also received an update on the forthcoming Constitutional Referendum scheduled to take place later this year.
