Notice for Bahamian Nationals in Possession of hand – written Passport booklets.
The High Commission wishes to advise all Bahamian Nationals in possession of hand-written passport booklets that they are required to schedule an appointment at the High Commission to apply for a Biometric Passport by December 31st, 2014. Kindly note that the hand written passport booklets will cease to be valid as of January 1st, 2015.

Bahamas Flag Bearer for Commonwealth Day Observance 2014
The High Commission is looking to identify a young person of outstanding achievement to carry the nation’s flag at the Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey on Monday 10 March 2014. The flag bearer should be a national of The Bahamas currently resident in the UK, aged between 15 and 25, and have had an impact in the area of ‘Team Commonwealth’ (the 2014 Commonwealth theme), have made a positive contribution to their local communities, or are actively engaged in Commonwealth activities.

Launch of the Queen’s Baton Relay for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games
