Dear Friends,

I think that you all know that all good things must and eventually come to an end.

My diplomatic mission in this glorious capital Is no exception. I will be relinquishing my post as High Commissioner to the Court of St. James’s on 31 July, 2017 and will be returning to The Bahamas.

As a result of just a change and until the appointment and arrival of a successor, Ms. Allison Booker, Deputy High Commissioner, will discharge the duties of Chargé d’Affaires.

In the few weeks between now and 31 July, it will not be possible for me and Dawne to shake hands in farewell with as many of you, dear friends, as I would have wished. Nonetheless, I shall always treasure and cherish the memories of each and every one of our encounters, both official and personal.

Until we meet again, please accept my warmest remembrances.
