Visa Information for Cruise Ship Passengers to The Bahamas

Reminder Notice from The Bahamas’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Visa Information for Cruise Ship Passengers:

1. All persons from countries requiring a visa for travel to The Bahamas who remain with the cruise ship
   on the same voyage will require a Bahamian Visa to come ashore to visit.
2. Guests arriving by air to join the cruise ship will be required to possess a Bahamian Visitor Visa if they are nationals of countries that would normally require a visit to enter The Bahamas.
3. Crew Members who work on the cruise ship as it comes and goes will not need Bahamian Visitor Visa, only their crewman identification card.
4. Crew Members flying into The Bahamas to join their cruise ship will not need to possess a Bahamian Visitor Visa in order to join their ship in a Bahamian port, only their crewman identification card.
