World Trade Organisation (WTO) Officials Visit The Bahamas

As a part of the Government’s commitment to join the World Trade Organisation, the Ministry of Finance hosted a delegation from the World Trade Organisation from 19 – 20 July 2010. The purpose of the visit was to meet with members of the government and private sector stakeholders to discuss the importance of WTO membership for The Bahamas. During their visit the delegation met with the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Leader of the Opposition and the Bahamas Chamber of Commerce.

Members of the delegation are His Excellency Peter Black, Chairman of the Bahamas Working Party; Chiedu Osakwe, Director of the World Trade Organisation Accessions Division and  Sajal Mathur, Counsellor in the Accession Division.
