The Bahamas High Commission London wishes to advise the public that it will be closed on Monday May, 30th 2016 for the Bank Holiday and closed to the public only on Tuesday May, 31st, 2016 as it will be open as an Active Polling Station for the upcoming referendum.

The Parliamentary Commissioner hereby informs the general public that the Advanced Poll will be held Tuesday, 31st May 2016 at the following locations:

UPDATED DATES ON ADVANCED POLL FOR UPCOMING CONSTITUTIONAL REFERENDUM
The High Commission informs that the date, 27th May 2016, for the advanced poll for the upcoming constitutional referendum has now been changed to 31st May, 2016. Due to this change of date, the new deadline for voter registration is 20th May 2016. Please be aware that voters are registered by submission of the Form J, that can be downloaded below, via email to info@bahamashclondon.net. Any Form J’s submitted after 20th May, 2016 will not be accepted.

Prime Minister Christie Meets with Global Shipping Giant in Geneva

Geneva, Switzerland – Principal and founder of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Gianluigi Aponte and his senior management team met with Prime Minister The Rt Honourable Perry Christie and the Hawksbill Creek Agreement Cabinet Negotiating Committee, February 11, at MSCs headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland for two days of deliberations on matters relating to the expiring concessions under the Hawksbill Creek Agreement and growth of MSCs investments in The Bahamas.
