His Excellency Eldred Bethel with IMO Secretary General Koji Sekimizu at the World Maritime Day celebration at the International Maritime Organization’s headquarters in London.

The High Commission of Dominica will be hosting a Benefit Showcase, Friday October 2nd, 2015 to aid the victims of Tropical Storm Erika.
The event will take place at the Hammersmith Town Hall, King Street, London W6 9JU.

The IMO International Maritime Law Institute (IMLI) was established in 1988 under an Agreement between the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a specialized agency of the United Nations and the Government of Malta. The Institute is currently headquartered in Malta, on the campus of the University of Malta.

Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Perry Christie promoting and drumming up business for The Bahamas during his travel to London, England on September 9th and 10th. In addition to giving the key note address at The 2015 Caribbean Investment Summit, Prime Minister Christie and his delegation conducted meetings to advance economic development in the country.

The Commonwealth Secretariat has several award schemes as part of the Commonwealth Youth Programme to promote youth development projects throughout the 53 Commonwealth countries. These annual awards are the Commonwealth Youth Awards for Excellence in Development Work (Commonwealth Youth Awards) and Commonwealth Youth Worker Awards.
