The Bahamas Represented By Industry Stakeholders at Posidonia 2014
Bahamian officials attended Posidonia 2014 in Greece, the largest and most prestigious shipping exhibition internationally, hoping to attract business by showcasing their competitive offerings in the maritime industry. In addition to more than a thousand exhibitors, Posidonia organizers host conferences and seminars focused on maritime and trade. The Bahamas was represented by The Ministry of Transport and Aviation, The Bahamas Maritime Authority and The Bahamas Financial Services Board.

High Commissioner Bethel presents his Credentials in Berlin, Germany
His Excellency, Mr Eldred Bethel presented his Letters of Credentials to the President of Germany Joachim Gauck at the Court of Honour of Schloss Bellevue in Berlin Germany. High Commissioner Bethel is The Bahamas representative to Germany.

Meetings for the 19th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers (CCEM) to be hosted in Nassau Bahamas have been taking place in London with officials from the host country, the Commonwealth Secretariat and other stakeholders.

The Commonwealth Education Good Practice Awards were launched at Marlborough House in London on Wednesday 19 March 2014. The awards will be presented at the 19th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers (19CCEM) held in Nassau, Bahamas from 22 to 26 June 2015.

Private Screening of ‘Passage’ at Bahamas House in London
H.E. Eldred Bethel, High Commissioner, hosted a private Screening of ‘Passage’ a short film by Bahamian Writer/Director Kareem Mortimer at Bahamas House in London on Wednesday 12 March 2014.
Bahamian nationals, friends of The Bahamas and representatives from the London Diplomatic Community, the Commonwealth Secretariat and Commonwealth Foundation attended the screening which was followed by a Q&A with the Writer/Director and a Reception hosted by the High Commissioner.
